Nordic Sea Hotel is certified according to Safe Hotels’ highest level; “Premium Level Certificate”. This means that Nordic Sea Hotel maintains a high international standard of security.
Maintaining security is a continual process, which is why Safe Hotels Alliance (www.safehotels.com) conducts an annual review of our security procedures, and tests all our safety equipment. All rooms are equipped with electronic key card locks and peek holes. Evenings and nights the hotel is manned by security guards and during day time our porters are on duty. For your safety, access to all hotel rooms are for hotel guests with key cards only, guaranteed by automatic access card readers in all elevators and stairs.
Nordic Sea Hotel has a very high level of fire safety and is classified as” Highly Fire Protected Hotel” (“Väl Brandskyddat Hotell”) by the Swedish Fire Protection Association (www.svbf.se). This means that Nordic Sea hotel is equipped with sprinklers, automatic fire alarms, emergency lighting, smoke and heat detectors, and has well-established fire procedures.
Nordic Sea Hotel has a very high level of fire safety. All corridors have clear instructions for emergency exits, as well as fire extinguishers and alarm buttons. For orientation, please study the emergency exit plan. There is one in each room and it shows you where to find the closest emergency exit. In case of fire, the alarm will be activated within seconds. If you discover a fire or smoke, immediately push the alarm button. If the alarm is activated you’ll hear a very loud signal, impossible to mistake for any other noise. In all public areas, a public address system will inform you where to head for the nearest exit. All emergency exits lead to the security checkpoint area at the Arlanda Express Terminal, located only 20 meters from the hotel entrance.
