You buy your travelcard and single tickets/pre-paid single tickets in advance at SL Center or ticket agents. SL Center is located in the ticket hall at the Central Station in the lower hall. Other ticket agents, mostly news agents, have the SL logo clearly visibly displayed.

The metro/underground has 100 stations on three lines: Green line, Red line and Blue line. In the inner city the trains depart between every 2 minutes and every 5 minutes. The trains are comfortable and very quiet. The Stockholm metro/underground is the world’s longest art exhibition. 140 artists have decorated almost 90 of the stations. The closest entrance to the metro/underground is located 10 meters from the entrance to the Nordic Sea Hotel. Available cabs can be found outside the Arlanda Express terminal until around 00:55 when Arlanda Express closes. If you intend to travel during the rush hour on weekdays (07:30-09:30 and 16:30-18:30) we recommend booking a taxi in advance. Please ask our staff at the reception for help. A taxi ride within the inner city is about 100-150 SEK.We recommend that you use one of the following taxi companies: Taxi Stockholm, Taxi Kurir or Taxi 020.
