Learn and develop

We know that your employees’ skills are indispensable for your company. Learn and develop is not just a way of increasing your employees’ knowledge. It is also a chance to motivate them and help them grow.

We want to ensure that you and your staff have a private room where effective learning can take place, with the best available resources. The ‘Learn and develop’ meeting concept gives you the venue, equipment and organisation to support a stimulating learning process. Naturally, all the technical equipment you might need to support the teaching process is here, and our staff will help you get the best out of the equipment.

When your meeting participants arrive at Nordic Sea Hotel, we ensure that they each receive a welcome pack. Then we suggest that you start the day with a reviving cup of coffee, an energy drink and some healthy nibbles. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at our Sea Bar & Restaurant. Of course, we’ll treat your guests to our popular and generous snack buffet, both mid-morning and mid-afternoon. We also have appropriate relaxation exercises available, in order to revitalise participants and stimulate the learning process. Let the learning process be an exciting development opportunity!

Six good times for education

Breakfast seminar

Begin with an early breakfast. We lay a breakfast table in or close to the room from as early as 06:00. You can hold an effective seminar for a few hours and still get the participants back to the office before their colleagues turn up for work.

Morning

When the guests arrive, a buffet table with coffee and biscuits awaits them. After a cup of coffee you will be ready to start an informative morning. When it’s time for a natural break, we have laid a refreshing buffet that give renewed energy for the all-important closing stage. The day’s reward is a good lunch served in the  Sea Bar & Restaurant.

Afternoon

Begin the afternoon arrangement with a nourishing lunch in the conference room. During the afternoon, have one or two energizing breaks and then round of the session with an enjoyable dinner.

Evening

Most people are so busy during the working day that personal development and training have to wait. The answer is to arrange your training sessions in the evening. Begin by serving participants an energy-boosting meal specially composed to generate the power to take fresh knowledge onboard. Hold an evening training session lasting a few hours and close with a discussion in the Sea Bar.

Full day

Begin early with a joint breakfast after a pleasant overnight at Nordic Sea Hotel or at the start of normal office hours to enable the participants to travel to the venue that morning. Together, we plan the day’s schedule according to your requirements, based on the best elements of the morning and afternoon arrangements.

24-hr training session - from lunchtime to lunchtime

The biggest problem nowadays is to make time for developing knowledge. For participants to be receptive to new knowledge they need to wind down and adjust. We believe that 24 hours, from lunchtime to lunchtime, is the training method of the future.

Gather participants for a joint lunch to give them all a chance to unwind instead of pitching directly into the training session. After lunch you as the course leader have a group that is receptive to fresh knowledge. Hold a training session during the afternoon with short breaks to renew energy levels.

Then enjoy dinner together, enabling the participants to discuss and sum up the events of the day. If you would like to continue your presentation after dinner, you can return to the conference room or have a discussion in more congenial surroundings of the hotel bar.

After a comfortable overnight at Nordic Sea Hotel, you gather again for breakfast. Return to the conference room for an informative morning session, rounded off by a joint lunch. The participants are now ready to return their workplaces strengthened by the knowledge and insights they have gained.
